Amazing image of Antennae Galaxies

The Hubble Space Telescope has taken a very impressive image of the Antennae Galaxy. These two galaxies are colliding and merging. As they do this, it triggers a wave of star formation (the bright patches) as clouds of gas are disturbed and compressed.

I made the thumbnail small on purpose, so you can be really surprised by the full size image.
